Ann Widdecombe beware . . . Strictly’s judges will be even more terrifying than usual this weekend when they dress up in Halloween costumes for a special themed episode. Craig Revel Horwood looks hairier than normal by dressing up as a werewolf, Len Goodman is a fangtastic vampire and Alesha Dixon casts her spell as a witch. Meanwhile Bruno Tonioli is transformed into a really gruesome Frankenstein’s monster.
And they won’t be the only horrors on Sunday’s show. Shock-rocker Alice Cooper will headline the ghoulish episode by singing what show bosses promise will be a “classic blood-curdling track”. And the male pro dancers are planning a chilling Paso Doble to open the show.
