Happy New Year!
2009 has been a hectic year both personally and professionally for me. Aside of working all the hours that God sends I have been busy following Alesha up and down the country to various events and appearances: Birmingham/Coventry/Bristol Radio tour for ‘Breathe Slow’, Meeting in London, T4 recording, Tour Rehearsal, Wolverhampton tour date, Norwich tour date, Enrique tour in Manchester, Radio 1 Big Weekend in Swindon, Radio tour for ‘To Love Again’, Royal Holloway University Ball, Capital Radio Summertime Ball in London, V Festival in Staffordshire, Tour dates in Nottingham, Liverpool, Cambridge, Birmingham, Bristol, London and Brighton, Strictly Come Dancing, Alan Carr TV Recording, and Rock with Laughter in Birmingham. That’s at least 22 events to memory – so thankyou to Alesha for the tickets and putting up with my face all those times.
AleshaDixon.Net made a new personal record of having over 2 MILLION clicks in March 2009 alone – that’s an average of over 64,000 page clicks a day. AleshaDixon.Net is most visited by those in Great Britain, France, United States, Germany and Spain which also correlates with her rising popularity in those countries. However, we still reach fans as far afield as Belarus and The Maldives. We closed for a brief period in the summer but came back stronger and we will continue to grow in 2010, as we reach our 5th year online on February 4th.
2009 appears to be another landmark year for Alesha too as she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and raised 3 million pounds for charity, broke a Guiness World Record, ‘The Alesha Show’ went platinum and was later re-released, she racked up another top 5 single with ‘Breathe Slow’ and a further two top 15 singles with ‘Lets’ Get Excited’ and ‘To Love Again’. Alesha also embarked on a 17 date tour of the UK, went top 10 with her songs in many European countries (including number 1 in Spain), and claimed a seat on the judging panel of Strictly Come Dancing. For good measure let’s throw in the fact that Alesha made another documentary and even got one made on herself …
Personally, I have a lot to look forward to in 2010 as I qualify as a Registered Nurse in exactly 28 days – woop! No doubt Alesha will have something to look forward to as she releases her next single this Summer, with her 3rd (2nd in the UK) album following soon after. There is even talk of taking ‘The Alesha Show’ tour to Europe – great timing as I’ll have money to hit those tour dates too!
Every day I strive to bring you more Alesha news, photos, videos and downloads, often minutes within it happening. Thankyou to all the site visitors for constantly interacting and being so supportive of me; it motivates me to keep on going. Here’s to 2010 …

Rachel, I just would like to say that when you decided to stop the website I was disappointed because it became difficult to find news about Alesha, all the more so because I live in France and not in Great Britain ! So when I found by chance your website again last month (december), I had a good surprise to see you continue your great work ! And now I see the site every week… Happy new year to you and all the others Alesha’s fans !
Wow, what an amazing year 2009 was!!! I didn’t realise so much happened. Lol. Here’s to an even better 2010! Even though that means it’ll be even crazier for us all.

I would imagine coping with your studies/job alone would be hard enough for most of us but for you to run the site alongside everything else… You’re a hero to us all!
