It’s one of those weeks again – we’re all getting very nervous because this week Alesha could be in with another chance to get that Top 10 album we’ve been waiting for. In Tuesday’s midweeks Alesha was neck-and-neck (literally) with Jim Reeves where they shared the number 10 position. It is very rare for artists to share the exact same amount of sales (especially considering Jim Reeves died in 1964) but today Alesha fought her way and is now sitting at the number 10 spot alone. However, it’s going to be a close call this week as Melody is only 600 copies behind her. Can Alesha finally get into the top 10 and stay there for the Sunday chart? Fingers crossed. As for ‘Lets Get Excited’, it continues to fall down the chart which was to be expected with it missing the top 10 last week and the consistent album sales. In regards to international updates ‘The Boy Does Nothing’ finally went to number 1 on the iTunes singles download chart and video chart in Spain … simultaneously!

ADMIN.!!! I have a question: I saw Alesha in CANNES and in ITALY with the samepink microphone that has ALESHA printed on it,
why? Is that as a symbol for her or for technical reasons, because in other countries the technics could be not perfect?

The microphone was a birthday gift to Alesha from her manager. There is no reason why Alesha cannot use another microphone but as it was a gift it’s understandable that Alesha uses her own.

Just checked wikipedia and the album rose to a new peak of 11, which is good, but infuriating that once again Alesha misses that top 10 placing.

I really want to meet alesha again i think she is amazing. after i spoke to alesha at the UEA i started crying because i was so happy. My wish come true would be to sing with alesha she is totally the best singer ever!
